Wiseman has bowled 37 career 300 games in PBA competition, and is the holder of 12 PBA Tour Titles and 7 PBA Regional Titles, including ones in Baltimore, Riverside (CA), Seattle, St. Louis, Grand Rapids, Portland, and Las Vegas. The winner of the PBA 2004 USBC Masters and was ranked 42nd on list of "50 Greatest Players in PBA History" in 2009, Wiseman was inducted into the Baltimore and Maryland State USBC Halls of Fame this year.

"I dedicate this tournament to my mother," said Wiseman, who had taken a leave of absence from tournament competition in order to care for his mother, who had suffered a serious neurological disorder. Wiseman's mother, who lives in Baltimore, was present at the final day was present to witness her son's triumphant return to tournament form.

Earlier, the fun began on Friday evening with the Pro-Am part of the event. It was great to see so many top professional bowlers teamed up with amateur bowlers from the greater Harford County region. There were lots of laughs – and some amateurs even won money!

It turned out that the ladies ruled the day: Debbie Mangum won the adult tournament and took home $400; Pam Hartman was second and won $275; third place went to Pat Chassereau, who won $240; 4th place was Wanda Saffer ($190); 5th place Jean Wilcox ($165); 6th place Karen Warner ($115); and 7th place Mary Smith ($100).

The 11-and-under Division was won by Ben Rynes, and all of our 11-and-under youth bowlers received plaques to commemorate the event.

The 12-and-over Youth Division was won by Jeffrey Mason, who received a $200 scholarship; second was Joe Ciufo, who received a $150 scholarship; third was David Dyer ($75 scholarship); and fourth place was Nick Rynes ($50 scholarship). All of our youth bowlers bowled well and most of all had fun!

On Saturday, the pros battled it out in qualifying rounds, which determined the top 16 pros for the Sunday round-robin final rounds. Each pro bowled 16 games; the lead changed often but when the dust settled, as described above, Danny Wiseman won, with Bill O’Neill second and Ryan Ciminelli third. Other finishers, in order were Ritchie Allen 4th for $1,000); Mike Fagan (5th for $900); Ray Edwards (6th for $800); Patrick Allen (7th for $750); Craig Hanson (8th for $700); Tommy Gollick (9th for $680); Bill Barlow (10th for $660); Tim Criss (11th for $650); Chris Collins (12th for $640); Eddie Van Daniker, Jr. (13th for $630; Tom Sorce (14th for $620); Darryl Bower (15th for $610); and Lee Vanderhoef (16th for $600).

As in previous years, the event also raised money for a worthy local charity. Not only did Forest Hill Lanes made a donation from each Pro-Am fee received, but also a silent auction was held – again, a great success, thanks to the generosity of the businesses and individuals who contributed to it.

So, we are pleased to announce that, thanks to the generosity of bowlers and guests at our 2010 PBA/Pro Am event, Forest Hill Lanes is making a contribution of $2,150 to the new Upper Chesapeake Residential Hospice here in Harford County – just a block from the lanes!
